The Hoosier Oncology Group operates as a cancer research organization established to evaluate innovative and promising methods and approaches to cancer treatment through, among other things, clinical research. Engendering cooperation between medical center scientists and community practitioners enables HOG to achieve the goal of treating cancer patients within their own communities, while contributing significant research to the worldwide battle against cancer.

Hoosier Oncology Group Announces Pletcher as New Executive Director

Indianapolis, IN, September 10, 2008 – Peter “Quake” Pletcher takes his post as the new Executive Director at the Hoosier Oncology Group (HOG) on October 13, 2008. Mr. Pletcher will be only the fourth Executive Director for the Hoosier Oncology Group since the organization formed in 1983.

Mr. Pletcher has a breadth of professional experience which includes running a manufacturing start-up to retail management to, most recently, supporting oncology drug hunting teams at Eli Lilly in finance. Read More...
