Nasser Hanna, M.D.
Dr. Hanna is a medical oncologist at Indiana University with a focus on lung cancer research. He is a core committee member of the ECOG thoracic committee, co-leads the lung cancer working group at IU, and leads the VA lung cancer research program.
He has authored over 60 manuscripts in the last 8 years primarily in the field of lung cancer. Dr. Hanna's special interest is in tobacco education and teaches medical students and residents as part of their curriculum.
Dr. Hanna co-founded Cancer-Free Lungs, which has raised money and awareness about lung cancer and also developed a tobacco education program for kids; He is married to his wife, Amy, who is the President of Cancer-Free Lungs and has 3 children: Nick, Reece, Erin.
